Brian Young and
Jodie Bakken Young are the owners of Bakken-Young Funeral and Cremation Services since
August of 1999 and Beebe Mortuary on January 2, 2008. They are husband and wife, both licensed funeral
directors in Wisconsin and Minnesota. They both graduated from the
University of Minnesota with Bachelor of Science Degrees with Majors in
Mortuary Science. They reside in an apartment within the funeral
home in Hudson, Wisconsin.
Brian and Jodie are very active in
Baldwin, Hudson, River Falls and Maiden Rock. They enjoy donating
their time in each community and different organizations. Brian is
a member of the Hudson Noon Rotary Club, Hudson Chamber of Commerce
Ambassadors, Baldwin Masons-Collins Lodge, River Falls Moose Lodge
#1159, Maiden Rock Community Association. He is a volunteer board
member for the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce (2000-2003), and volunteer
president of the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce (2001-2002), Jr. Deacon for
the Masons-Collins Lodge in Baldwin, member of the building committee
for Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson, chairperson for the Hudson Rotary
Golden Opportunity Dinner (2001), Greeter and "First Friend" at Trinity
Lutheran Church, and helps annually with the St. Croix Arts and Music
Festival in Hudson. Jodie is a member of the River Falls Rotary
Club, River Falls Women of the Moose Lodge #1159, Hudson Chamber of
Commerce Ambassadors, Maiden Rock Community Association. She is a
volunteer board member for the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce (2000-2003),
treasurer of the River Falls Rotary Club (2000-2002), secretary of the
Women of the Moose Lodge #1159 in River Falls (2001-2002), member of the
Professional Women's Network in River Falls, Greeter and "First Friend"
at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson and helps annually with the St.
Croix Arts and Music Festival in Hudson.
Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services is proud to
contribute and support events in these communities. In 2001 and
2002 they sponsored the "Care Givers Lap" at the Hudson Relay for Life,
contributed to the River Falls YMCA, the Hudson Rotary Club's Golden
Opportunity Dinner, Hudson's Community Action, the Maiden Rock
Improvement Association, Windmill Days in Baldwin, National Wild Turkey
Federation Dinner in River Falls, MADD ( Mother's Against Drunk
Driving), and The Special Olympics.
