Mary L. Nelson age 91 of New Richmond died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the St.Croix Health Center.  She was born the daughter of Harry and Mabel Irle on September 17, 1920.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earle V. Nelson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Ruth Irle, Ted and Bette Irle.  Survived by son, Dr. James E. and wife Coralee Nelson; daughter, Jane and husband Larry Matthys; 3 grandsons and 3 great-grandchildren.  A memorial service was held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 5:00 pm Bethany Lutheran Church in Star Prairie.  Visitation was also Thursday from 4:00-5:00 pm at the church.  Interment was in Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie.  Arrangements were with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
