Ruth Myrtle Viola Holmberg of the Augustana Care Center in Minneapolis, MN, went to be with her Savior on May 16, 2012 on her 98th birthday.  Preceded in death by parents, Ossian and Hilda Holmberg; 3 sisters, Ethel, Delia, Helen; 7 brothers, Paul, Albin, Fergus, Wallace, Sigfrid, Harold, George.  Survived by sister, Annette Holmberg; nieces and nephews; and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11 am the Bakken-Young Fueral Home in River Falls.  Visitation was also on Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.  Interment was in the Fristad Cemetery in Centuria, WI.  Memorials preferred to Augustana Care Center or Bethany Lutheran Church, 3901 36th Avenue S Mpls, MN.  Arrangements were with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
