Jodie Bakken Young
Jodie Bakken Young was born and raised in Mankato, MN.  She graduated from Mankato West High School.  Jodie pursued her interest in Mortuary Science and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mortuary Science.  On October 30, 1999, she married Brian Young.  Jodie and Brian have owned and operated Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services since 1999 and Beebe Mortuary since 2008.   She enjoys golfing, watching movies, playing cards and fishing.


Brian Young
Brian Young was raised in Long Prairie, MN.  He graduated from Long Prairie High School.  He attended Northwestern College in Roseville and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mortuary Science.  Brian married Jodie Bakken and together they own and operate Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services since 1999 with the addition of Beebe Mortuary in 2008.  Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) and going to movies.

Julia Rajtar, M.A.P.S., BCC
Julia Rajtar is a Board Certified Chaplain with a local hospital and senior living community.  She lives in the Twin Cities but has worked in Wisconsin for over 20 years, in the health care field. She has a Masters in Pastoral Studies, facilitates grief groups and is a member of the Minnesota Coalition for Death Education. Julia loves to play volleyball, polka dance, watch the Packers and spend time with her family. As the Grief Support Coordinator for Bakken-Young,you will continue to experience compassion and kindness after your loss.
